"As one of my "Raindrop" painting series, I began as a ritual act to emotionally accept my new home in the Greater Seattle Area, wishing to comfortably settle down. I rendered various raindrop shapes using a 3D program, each of which represents an individual living in the Pacific Northwest. I wanted to create a visual movement associated with my settling experiences in the new surroundings".
