Here we have a set of four Børge Mogensen 'People's Chair', model J39, designed for FDB Mobler. This 1960s set are in overall great original condition from the frame to the papercord seats. The solid oak frames have been and polished. All joints have been inspected and tightened as needed. The original papercord seats have been meticulously cleaned without damaging the cord or weave pattern. There are shallow scratches, minor scuffs, and areas of discoloration to the frames from years of use (see photos). There are spots of discoloration to each seat but overall have a beautiful patina to them (see photos).
