Here we have a refinished walnut dining table atrributed to Florence Knoll for Knoll. This table features a generous 60" diameter round walnut top on a steel tube 'X' base. The table does not have a sticker label but we believe due to the construction quality it was a table produced by Knoll. It was not uncommon for Florence Knoll to design a custom table for her clients and this table shares mutiple details of her other designs. It was also found with six 1960s Saarienen chairs for Knoll which we believe were purchased at the same time as the table. The table top has been refinished with a lacquer finish. The steel frame has been cleaned and hand polished. Some surface rust spots remain on the frame (see photos).
