Here we have a vintage Norwegian Modern writing desk designed by John Texmon for Blindheim Møbelfabrik. This desk features great functionality for a compact desk from the three locking painted drawers to a uppershelf for storage. The desk has a solid beech construction with round tapered legs and a fun pop of color on the back panel and drawers in the original blue paint. There are shallow scratches, minor scuffs, and some areas of discoloration from years of use (see photos). Drawers slide smoothly but no key. All joints have been inspected and have been tightened as needed.
