Description:

Presenting a 1980s Marcel Breuer, Hungarian-American architect, Wassily Chair (Model B3) for Knoll. Marcel Breuer left Hungary and studied underneath Walter Gropius at Bauhaus in Germany where Breuer began to hone his design ethos. In 1925, the Model B3 chair was born by Breuer's fascination of bent bicycle handlebars. The chair's frame is formed by bending steel tube which are linked together by thick gray leather straps. This example from the 1980s features all of its original upholstery and hardware.

Notes:

The leather has been cleaned and conditioned. The steel frame has been cleaned and hand polished. There are shallow scratches and areas of discoloration from years of use (see photos).
