Here we have a 1970s Danish Modern gentleman's chest of drawers designed by Nils Jonsson for Torring Mobelfabrik. This dresser features bookmatched grain faces, six dovetail constructed drawers with recessed handles, a large locking door with key, six shallow dovetailed constructed solid birch drawers, and a large open space for tall boots. The exterior of the cabinet is constructed out of a warm walnut veneer with some solid edge detailing. The top has been lightly sanded to remove some imperfections and then topped with mutiple coats of an oil finish. The rest of the cabinet has been cleaned and the oil finish has been refreshed. All joints have been inspected and tightened as needed. The doors key and lock are in good working order. There are some shallow scratches, minor scuffs, and some areas of discoloration from years of use (see photos).
